Our main business is producing records, which we do out of our studios in Bermondsey. We offer traditional artist management services, as well as label services, publishing administration and tour booking.
Record Label Services
We are distributed by State51, one of the oldest and coolest independent distributors in the UK, into every imaginable digital platform world wide.
Our in-house PR and marketing team services our releases to traditional and digital specialist music media, carrying out carefully targeted marketing and promo campaigns co-ordinated with our artists’ activities.
We are a PRS Publisher Member.
Built inside a converted 19th century factory, our two studios are designed around SSL and state of the art Pro Tools. With three live areas, lots of natural light and an extensive equipment list The Animal Farm is a creative haven maxed out on the latest gizmos available.
In addition to producing our home grown talent, our producers’ credentials include the artists on this incomplete yet informative list of projects present and past:
Everything Everything (Geffen) Orange Goblin (Candlelight) Violet Bones (Global/Rough Trade) Ejectorseat (Taste Media) iremembertapes. The Animal Farm is part of a community of music, media and entertainment businesses based at The Biscuit Factory, situated a 5 min walk from Bermondsey tube station (Zone 2, one stop south from London Bridge on Jubilee Line). The Complex has parking and 24/7 security. Other services within the Complex include The Bridge, a restaurant offering hot and cold food daily, and Music Bank, an equipment hire company with rehearsal rooms and a shop for consumables like strings, skins etc.
Since Music Bank is used by the biggest names in the music business, one of the perks of working at the ‘Farm is that you’re guaranteed to run into famous people! And if that’s not enough, you can see the London Eye from our windows.
